Understanding Physical, Emotional & Trauma-Related Wrinkles Through Facial Reflexology
A specialized training developed by Lone Sorensen for Facial Reflexology and Japanese Lifting students who wish to deepen their understanding of facial signs, wrinkles, emotional expression, and structural imbalance.
This course explores why wrinkles and facial lines develop and how they may reflect imbalances in the body, emotions, and nervous system.
Students are introduced to three major categories of wrinkle formation:
✔ Physical imbalance-related wrinkles
✔ Emotional wrinkles
✔ Trauma-related wrinkles
The training combines facial analysis, meridian understanding, emotional observation, and principles of Facial Reflexology treatment to help therapists develop more individualized and meaningful treatment protocols.
Academic Focus
The course explores the relationship between:
✔ Facial signs and body imbalance
✔ Wrinkles and meridian pathways
✔ Emotional patterns and facial expression
✔ Trauma-related tension patterns
✔ Nervous system regulation and facial structure
✔ Facial Reflexology and facial analysis integration
Students learn how the face may reflect physical, emotional, and stress-related patterns through lines, tension, texture, and muscular expression.
The Three Wrinkle Categories
A – Physical Imbalance Wrinkles
Wrinkles and facial signs related to:
✔ Organ dysfunction patterns
✔ Muscular tension and structural imbalance
✔ Circulatory and metabolic changes
✔ Nervous system stress and fatigue
B – Emotional Wrinkles
Facial expressions and lines connected to:
✔ Emotional tension
✔ Repetitive emotional states
✔ Stress and psychological overload
✔ Long-term emotional holding patterns
C – Trauma-Related Wrinkles
Patterns related to:
✔ Deep emotional stress
✔ Nervous system dysregulation
✔ Protective facial tension patterns
✔ Long-standing emotional imprinting
Learning Outcomes
By completing this course, students will be able to:
✔ Analyze classic and non-classic wrinkles through Facial Reflexology principles
✔ Understand the relationship between wrinkles and meridian systems
✔ Identify physical, emotional, and trauma-related facial patterns
✔ Apply Facial Reflexology treatment protocols adapted to different wrinkle types
✔ Integrate facial analysis into Japanese Lifting and Facial Reflexology treatments
✔ Create more individualized and targeted therapeutic treatment plans
Practical Training Experience
✔ Step-by-step facial analysis demonstrations
✔ Guided wrinkle and line observation methods
✔ Practical treatment protocol integration
✔ Facial Reflexology applications related to facial signs
✔ Clinical observation and treatment adaptation
✔ Integration with Japanese Lifting and Facial Reflexology techniques
Students learn practical tools that help deepen therapeutic observation and improve treatment personalization.
Examination & Evaluation
This course includes a written, question-based examination designed to evaluate theoretical understanding and the practical application of Visual Facial Analysis principles.
Students who successfully complete the course and written evaluation receive certification in Visual Facial Analysis.
Who Is This Course For?
✔ Facial Reflexology students
✔ Japanese Lifting students
✔ Reflexologists and therapists
✔ Facial and aesthetic therapists
✔ Professionals interested in emotional and structural facial analysis
What Makes This Course Different
This course combines Facial Reflexology, understanding of meridians, emotional analysis, trauma-related observation, and facial sign interpretation into a unique and clinically useful therapeutic system.
The focus is on helping therapists understand that wrinkles are not only aesthetic changes but may also reflect deeper physical, emotional, and nervous-system imbalances.
By integrating visual analysis into Facial Reflexology and Japanese Lifting treatments, therapists gain a deeper ability to personalize protocols and better understand the stories reflected within the face.
