Original
Facial Reflexology Method
Facial Reflexology Therapy is a neurological therapeutic method that integrates nerve reflex systems, meridian theory, Tibetan medicine, and modern neuroscience.
By stimulating specific reflex areas and neurological points in the face, the therapist can support the body’s regulatory mechanisms and help restore balance within the nervous system, organ functions, and hormonal processes.
The method is practiced professionally in more than 30 countries and is based on over 47 years of clinical experience, research, and development by Lone Sorensen.
The work draws on both ancient and modern microsystems, allowing therapists to address acute conditions, chronic patterns, and emotional imbalances within a structured therapeutic framework.
Who is this education for
This education is designed for people who wish to work professionally with Facial Reflexology and neuro-reflexology stimulation.
It is suitable for:
- Therapists who want to expand their professional toolbox
- Reflexologists, massage therapists, bodyworkers, and holistic practitioners
- Health professionals interested in integrative therapeutic approaches
- Practitioners working with stress, neurological conditions, or functional imbalances
- Beginners who wish to train in a structured and clinically oriented method
The program requires no previous experience in reflexology, although many students already work within complementary health or therapy fields.
Through the five levels, you develop the knowledge, practical skills, and clinical understanding needed to work confidently with clients using the Sorensensistem™ Method.
The method is based on various scientifically researched microsystems, drawing from the work of:
- Dr. Yamamoto (YNSA), Japan
- Dr. Castillo Morales, Argentina
- Dr. Wong, USA
- Dr. Chau, Vietnam
- Maria Perez, Argentina
- Dr. J. Bossy, France
Professional Outcomes
Completion of the 148-hour diploma equips practitioners with structured clinical competence and regulatory reasoning skills applicable in professional environments.
Upon completion of the diploma, graduates are qualified to:
- Design structured regulatory treatment protocols
- Integrate facial reflexology within professional clinical settings
- Work in private practice, rehabilitation environments and multidisciplinary health contexts
- Apply reflex correspondence mapping with systemic reasoning
- Maintain ethical and professional therapeutic standards
This education is suitable for both beginners and professional practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of neuro-reflexology and regulatory treatment methods. Reflexologists, therapists, body-workers, estheticians, physiotherapists, psychotherapists, and other health-oriented professionals often integrate the method naturally into their existing work.
No previous experience with Facial Reflexology is required. The education is taught step by step progressively, combining theory, practical techniques, observation, and clinical understanding in a structured and accessible way.
Facial Reflexology offers a practical therapeutic tool that can be integrated directly into both professional practice and personal therapeutic development. The method requires only the hands and a deep understanding of stimulation, observation, and regulation of the nervous system, its reflex areas, and points.
From Beginner
to Professional Therapist
148 Hours of Professional Training
This education combines online learning, personal Live mentoring, and hands-on training with Lone Sorensen.
You study the theory at your own pace through detailed online lessons while refining your techniques directly on real faces during practical training sessions.
The combination of deep theoretical understanding and precise hands-on correction is one reason students achieve such strong professional results.
How Education Works
Personal Introductory Session with Lone You begin the program with a personal online meeting with Lone. During this session you review your background, receive guidance for your study path, and are introduced to the first professional elements of the method. This ensures that you start with a clear structure that fits your daily life.
Online Learning – Study at Your Own Pace
The five modules are delivered through online lessons including videos, written material, and practical guides. All techniques are demonstrated in close-up detail, so you clearly see pressure, direction, rhythm, and hand positioning. You can revisit the material as often as you wish and progress at the pace that suits you. Each module ends with a short written test.
Practice Between Modules
Between modules you practice the techniques on family members, friends, or practice subjects. You learn to recognize tissue reactions, detect deposits, and work systematically through the base phases and microsystems. This practice builds confidence and prepares you for hands-on training.
Personal Mentoring with Lone
After each module you meet Lone online for individual mentoring. These sessions allow you to refine your technique, adjust pressure and rhythm, discuss your analyses, and receive guidance for the next stage of your development.
Hands-On Training with Lone
The program includes two practical training sessions of two full days each working directly with Lone. Here your techniques are refined on real faces, giving you the precision and confidence that cannot be achieved through online learning alone. Lone travels to Denmark four times per year, allowing you to choose the dates that fit your schedule.
ASK Lone – Clinical Case Learning
As a student you gain access to six ASK Lone sessions (2 hours each). During these sessions Lone presents clinical cases, treatment strategies, and causal analysis. You learn how experienced therapists structure treatments and work with complex client situations. ASK Lone sessions open after Module 3.
Examination and Certification
To receive certification, you complete a 10-session treatment process with one client, documenting your analysis, treatments, and results. The exam can begin after Module 4 or Module 5. Upon completion you receive your Diploma as a Facial Zone and Reflex Therapist.
Bonus: Starting Your Own Practice
Before finishing the program, you gain access to a bonus module about starting your own therapy practice. You will learn how to attract clients, communicate your expertise, and build a stable and sustainable clinic.
An International Professional Community
As a student, you become part of a global network of therapists trained in the Sorensensistem™ Method.
You can participate in TRAINING WEEK, professional events in Barcelona, and ongoing workshops, all of which allow you to continue developing your skills and connecting with colleagues from around the world.
Professional Education
in Facial Reflexology
Structured Training – Level 1 to Level 5
This comprehensive education guides you step by step through the clinical and neurological foundations of Facial Reflexology, in accordance with the original Sorensen System™ Method.
Across five levels, you learn to work with reflex areas and points, nerve pathways, meridians, hormonal regulation, and neurological stimulation – developing the ability to build structured and individualized treatment protocols.
Level 1 The Foundation of Facial Reflexology
Level 1 provides the essential practical and theoretical foundation of the method.
You learn the complete 7-step base treatment, designed to balance the four main regulatory systems:
- Circulation
- Meridians
- Lymphatic system
- Central nervous
- system
During this level, you develop the tactile skills needed to analyze tissue reactions, identify deposits, and establish a precise treatment rhythm.
In this level, you learn:
- The theory behind the 7 phases of the base treatment
- 21 acupressure points stimulating meridians, nerves, and lymph flow
- Nerve reflex zones in the face and their relationship to body functions
- Vietnamese microsystems for brain and sensory stimulation
- Lymphatic stimulation techniques
- Coordination of the right and left brain hemispheres
- Practical tissue analysis: tension, temperature, asymmetry
- How to perform the complete base treatment on a client
After level 1, you will be able to perform a complete facial reflexology base treatment that promotes balance and relaxation.
Level 2 Understanding Causes and Building Individual Treatment Protocols
Level 2 deepens your understanding of why imbalances occur and how to design treatments that address the underlying cause rather than only the symptoms.
You learn how to combine base treatment with advanced techniques to create individualized therapeutic strategies.

You will also learn visual facial analysis, including how to interpret signals such as color, tone, and asymmetry.
After level 3, you will be able to work with structured neurological treatment protocols.
Level 4 Hormonal Balance and the Gut–Brain Connection
Level 4 focuses on the hormonal system and its influence on both physical and emotional health.
