Trauma Therapy treatment

Trauma Therapy – Emotional Balance and Nervous System Regulation

This specialized training focuses on the treatment of emotional trauma and stress-related disorders using the Method Lone Sorensen system of Neuro Reflexology Therapy.

The 16-hour program explores how face and neuro-foot reflexology stimulation can influence emotional regulation, autonomic balance, and neurological communication through specific reflex areas and microsystems.

Developed within the Sorensensistem™ framework, the course integrates clinical observation, reflexology stimulation techniques, and regulatory sequencing used in professional therapeutic practice.

Understanding
Trauma and Emotional Regulation

In Neuro Reflex Therapy we do not only treat the symptoms of emotional trauma – we identify the reflex pathways where the trauma began and work to release and clean the blockages stored in the nervous system, brain and cells

This specialized training focuses on the treatment of emotional trauma and stress-related disorders in adult and children using the Method Lone Sorensen system of Neuro Reflexology Therapy.

Many people today live with unresolved emotional trauma caused by experiences such as loss, shock, chronic stress, abuse, or long-term emotional overload. These experiences can affect the nervous system and may lead to conditions such as:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety and emotional instability

  • PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

  • Burnout and exhaustion

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Emotional shutdown or hypersensitivity

In this course, therapists learn how to work with specific reflex areas and points and microsystems on face and feet that influence the autonomic nervous system, limbic system, and hormonal balance.

Professional Outcomes

Tactile Analysis – Identifying the Root Cause of Emotional Trauma

A central part of this training is learning to perform tactile analysis of reflex areas to understand both the root cause of the trauma and the client’s current emotional state.

Emotional trauma is rarely limited to one single event. In many cases, the nervous system carries patterns from earlier experiences, unresolved emotional stress, or long-term overload of the autonomic nervous system.

Through tactile examination of specific reflex zones, therapists learn to identify:

This analysis allows the therapist to distinguish between:

  • the root cause of the emotional disturbance, and

  • the present emotional symptoms the client is experiencing.

Understanding this difference is essential in order to create effective and individualized treatment protocols.
